O’Sullivan getting back in the swing

DENIS O’SULLIVAN, back home after the Scottish Seniors Open at the Roxburghe course near Kelso, is confident the changes he made to his swing are taking effect.

Despite finishing in the top 10 on the European Seniors Tour Order of Merit in four out of seven seasons, O'Sullivan is looking for increased consistency.

"The Corkman, who failed not break par at the Scottish Masters, confessed: "I hit some good shots and I hit some awful shots.

"I played in the pro-am on Thursday and shot 66 I was hitting the ball so good. I'm finding my form on the practice ground and in practice rounds, but not yet under pressure in tournament play. It is getting better though."

O'Sullivan carded rounds of 72, 74 and 72 to finish 12 shots behind winner Nick Job.
