Dinosaur bones prove the futility of religious belief
Scientists in Argentina have uncovered what could be the largest dinosaur found (Irish Examiner, May 21). Those scientists say it roamed the Earth more than 90m years ago.
When fossils of dinosaurs were first discovered, religious leaders claimed they were placed on Earth by the devil to mislead humans.
Yet, when we consider that dinosaurs ruled the Earth for 100m years, and humans came into existence less than a million years ago, the futility of religions is clear. For centuries, it is the various religions that have been misleading gullible humans.
The story of Adam and Eve couldn’t possibly be true and is a nice fairytale, as Charles Darwin’s evolutionary theory proves.
Nobody has proved that the so-called soul or God exist. Why would a God wish to hide and stay invisible?
