Council callers

At the start of the month your paper reported that council managers were receiving lump sum payments of €300,000 and an annual pension payment of €75,000 a year upon their retirement in their mid-fifties.

I now see that they are proposing to send their staff to our homes to collect a contribution towards these payments.
