The Ford 100 Fest charity event, celebrating 100 years of Ford in Ireland, took place on Sunday at the Ford Homestead in Ballinascarthy, Co Cork.
The event which boasted a large display of Ford tractors and cars was organised by the West Cork Vintage Ploughing & Threshing Association.
Videographer Denis Minihane captured the atmosphere from Ballinascarthy and spoke to the land owner of Ford Homestead and treasurer of West Cork Vintage Ploughing & Threshing Association, Vivian Buttimer.
“We’re celebrating with Henry Ford & Sons on the farm, we’re displaying all agricultural works such as cutting silage and cutting corn,” he said.
The event celebrated 100 years of Ford in Ireland since the Ford plant opened at the Marina in Cork in 1917.
