WhatsApp Web adds document sharing feature

Earlier this week, WhatsApp released a standalone desktop for Windows and Mac. Now it’s adding new functionality to its web client in the form of document sharing.

Previously, users of WhatsApp’s web client were able to share photos and videos stored locally. Alternatively, they could snap a photo there and then via their webcam. The new addition allows users to share documents quickly and easily, bringing it in line with the mobile app.
