Xiaomi is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer which has yet to really break out in Europe, but that could be about to change.

This Xiaomi is a good replacement for the Note 7

They've just released the details for their new smartphone, and it even has a familiar title - the Mi Note 2. In the wake of the explosive death of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, this could be the replacement you were looking for.

The Note 2 has a 5.7 inch screen at 1080p and a large 4070mAh battery and it even features a curved display like several of the phones Samsung has made in recent years. There's a Snapdragon 821 processor on board, like every major phone recently, and RAM starts at 4 gigs. It's aiming at the business market, but doesn't have a stylus like the Note 7.

There's a 22.56 MP Sony camera on the back and an 8 MP selfie camera on the front. It's looking like a pretty tasty phone, and the pricing isn't bad too - starting at around €400 - though you'll have to find a way to import it for now.
