iPhone 7 and Apple Pay details leak ahead of WWDC

Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) keynote gets underway later today but some of the element of surprise has been ruined. Details about the upcoming iPhone and Apple Pay’s availability in the UK have been leaked.

iPhone 7 and Apple Pay details leak ahead of WWDC

The “new iPhone,” according to a Vodafone memo, which was apparently sent to employees, will go on sale on September 25. Pre-orders will kick off on September 18. Unfortunately, the memo didn’t share pricing details.

Apple’s previous three iPhones have been released between September 19 and 21, so this release window seems about right.

Meanwhile, “industry sources” told The Telegraph that Apple Pay will be available in the UK around August. There’s no word as to whether it will arrive in Ireland at the same time.

Apple is expected to confirm the expansion of its Apple Pay service, announce an Apple Pay rewards programme and reveal new iPhone details at its WWDC keynote later today.
