iPhone 6S' release date may have been leaked
Two out of the three major carriers in Germany told German publication Macerkopf that Apple’s upcoming handsets will be available from September 18th.
That shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, as Apple has a track record of releasing handsets on the second Friday after the announcement.
Germany is a first-tier country. Also included in this bracket are Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the UK and the US, so expect the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus to arrive in these countries on the same day.
Apple typically sticks with a September announcement and release schedule, so these details sound right to us.
Expect Apple to share some official details in the near future. It should start sending out invites for its announcement event very soon.
