When some people are feeling a little under the weather, they search for their symptoms to find out what they should do. The search results often make them feel worse, but Google hopes to put an end to that.

Google is improving its search results by allowing users to narrow down the cause of their ailment. It will also offer related conditions to help you further specify what you're feeling.

Searching for something like “headache on one side,” will show a list of related conditions (“headache,” “migraine,” “tension headache,” “cluster headache,” “sinusitis,” and “common cold”). Meanwhile, Google says that it will provide self-treatment options and outline what may warrant a trip to the doctor.
