Cortana will arrive on Android devices in July

Microsoft’s digital assistant, Cortana, will arrive on Android phones in July.

A beta version of Cortana will be released in July to test as a companion to Windows 10 PCs. Windows 10 itself is to be released on July 29th.

Cortana will be connected to the user’s Microsoft account to keep cross-platform features in sync. The digital assistant will be capable of working across PC, Xbox One, and mobile platforms. Users will be able to create a reminder on their phone and receive it later on their PC or Xbox One.

Cortana for Android will launch in full later this year. In the meantime, Android phone owners have a beta to look forward to.
