VIDEO stunning trailer for The Neon Demon by Nicolas Winding Refn

Director Nicolas Winding Refn is following up the triumph of Drive and the.. ambivalence of Only God Forgives with another typically stunning looking film - The Neon Demon.

It stars Elle Fanning and we're going to go ahead and describe this as something like Black Swan but in the fashion world. The first trailer is below.

That looks like something which has to be experienced on the biggest screen possible, which is good news for those attending Cannes this year as it has just been confirmed to be screening there.

It's a little vague on detail, and so is the official description: "When aspiring model Jesse moves to Los Angeles, her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will take any means necessary to get what she has."

Still it has style to spare, though we're not so sure about the title being signed off with the three letters of the director's name. The Neon Demon is out in the UK and Ireland in July, 2016.
