Downton Abbey trailer - this is the end
The show first aired in the UK in September 2010 and has gone on to huge success both locally and abroad, with American audiences just eating up the period drama when it airs on PBS. With impeccable production values and a lavish setting, as well as a good handle on how to make people cry, it has had a great run, and in some ways its good to see a show finish up properly instead of dragging on for far too long.
The finale will take in the time from September to the end of the year 1925 and wrap up many storylines we've been following for more than five years over a feature lengthed episode. It airs on the 25th of December 2015.
