VIDEO: Life is Strange episode 4 release date confirmed

Life is Strange is an episodic adventure series which mostly seems to be about teens and time-travel, and the fourth episode is almost here.

Episode 4: Darkroom will debut on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC from the 28th of July. It continues the tale of highschooler Max who is trying to figure out what the heck is going on in the small town of Arcadia Bay. There's a trailer for the new episode, which you shouldn't watch if you haven't been playing so far.

Since kicking off in January 2015, Life is Strange has been earning positive reviews for its strong story and characters, as well as its use of a time-reversing mechanic to fuel its fairly simple puzzles. It's the second game by Dontnod Interactive, following on from the little-played Remember Me, which also had a bit of a time-messing mechanic.

This release news also comes on the day when the series so far reached one million in sales, a decent achievement for a smaller title with little in the way of major promotion. With one more episode yet to come before the end of the year, that figure is likely to grow as gamers wait for the entire season to be ready.

Life is Strange Episode 4 Darkroom is coming to consoles and PC from the 28th of July 2015.
