Eve: Valkyrie will have cross platform play on all VR systems

Eve: Valkyrie is already playable on the Oculus Rift and is coming to the HTC Vive, and there's more good news too.

In addition to confirming that the game will also be coming to the PlayStation VR after October 2016, developers CCP Games have also just announced that it will be a full cross-platform and cross-play title.

What that means is folks on the Rift will be able to get matched with those on the PlayStation VR and the Vive and all vice-verse and otherwise and everyway to ensure the maximum amount of players.

Gaming across various systems by different companies is still a very rare thing, and to do it with the added extra of virtual reality makes Valkyrie all the more exciting. Now we'll have to wait and see if the gamepads vs mouse and keyboard wars flame on yet again, especially if the PC players have had a headstart of a few months.
