Cities: Skylines will get a day-night cycle in After Dark DLC

Paradox Interactive has announced the After Dark DLC for city-building sim Cities: Skylines.

The main feature added in this DLC is a day-night cycle. As the sun sets, cities and those that inhabit them are faced with new challenges and issues.

“Will you construct a bustling city that lives and breathes at night or will your city succumb to the perils and misadventures of night life?" Paradox asked when revealing After Dark.

The trailer is poetic, but unfortunately doesn’t reveal too much about the upcoming DLC. We get to see Cities: Skylines in action during the day, but what the population may get up to at night is left up to our imagination.

Cities: Skylines was recently announced for Xbox One, but was launched on PC, Mac, and Linux in March. It’s likely the DLC will arrive on the latter platforms first before making its way to Xbox One.
