Atari announces Ataribox

Atari, the legendary video game company responsible for classic games like Pac-Man and Pong, is working on a piece of hardware for the first time in years called the Ataribox, although it’s not yet clear what form this hardware will take.

Atari announces Ataribox

Atari announced the Ataribox in a short teaser video posted last week that features zoomed-in shots of what appears to be the Atari 2600, first released in 1977.

Atari could be developing a brand new modern console although it’s more probable the company is building a retro box featuring classic Atari games similar to the Nintendo Mini NES and upcoming Mini SNES.
