Son to miss Tottenham’s trip to Monaco
The Korean has shown no signs of his £22m price tag weighing him down, netting three goals in five since his move from Bayer Leverkusen to Spurs.
Son was injured in the 4-1 win over Man City last weekend. Mauricio Pochettino was pressed on Son’s injury ahead of tonight’s tie in Monaco.
“Son got an injury against Man City, a foot injury, and he is not here for this reason,” the Argentinian said. “I think that it will be a few weeks.”
Ryan Mason remains sidelined with a knee problem, while Alex Pritchard, Nabil Bentaleb and Mousa Dembele continue to miss out with ankle injuries. Kyle Walker is rested tonight.
