Gerrard wants to keep Suarez goal-hungry

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is pleased striker Luis Suarez has not scored more hat-tricks — because he thinks it keeps him hungry for more.

The Uruguay international scored two for the second successive match as Sunderland were swept aside 3-0 on Wednesday night.

Suarez has just two Reds trebles to his name, both against Norwich, but he has found the net twice in a game three times on his way to 15 Premier League goals already this season.
