Ulster Rugby chief executive Shane Logan has denied the decision not to offer coach Brian McLaughlin a new contract has been a PR disaster — but accepted the issue "could have been handled better".
Logan says the names linked in the media with the job "are not the names that we have been talking to" in an interview with the BBC.
"We are looking for a coach who will fit into the Ulster Rugby way of doing things," added the Ulster chief.
