Australia stud fee set at €50,000

Australia was hugely impressive in winning both the Epsom and Irish Derbys before claiming the Juddmonte International Stakes at York.
His career ended in disappointment though when just touched off by The Grey Gatsby in the Irish Champion Stakes and a hoof injury meant an intended swansong in the British equivalent was swerved.
Coolmore are not dampening down the hype, describing Australia as the heir apparent to Galileo, who has been the pre-eminent flat stallion since first becoming champion sire in 2008. His fee is the only one on the Coolmore roster of 28 listed as ‘private’.
Other horses taking up residence in Coolmore for the first time next term are No Nay Never (€20,000), Ruler Of The World (€15,000), War Command (€15,000) and Kingsbarns (€6,000).
