Athletics Ireland have inked a lucrative three-year deal with New Balance.

The US sports manufacturer will next month be confirmed as international gear sponsor for all Irish teams.

New Balance, which recorded $2 billion (€1.5bn) global sales for 2011, will replace Asics in the deal.
