Denis Hurley, Cork SHC
Having been pegged back as Carbery produced a late surge of 1-4 in the drawn game the previous week, the North Cork division were in no mood to let this one slip.
Tadhg Healy and Maurice O’Sullivan, who both missed the first match, were big additions to the side, Healy strong at centre-back and allowing Michael Walsh to move to left half-back and influence the game, while O’Sullivan showed up well at left half-forward.
