Donegal fans get ticket bonus for Ulster showdown

Donegal received an unexpected ticket boost with Tyrone returning 1,000 unsold tickets for Sunday’s Ulster SFC quarter-final.

Tyrone had claimed MacCumhaill Park, in Ballybofey, which will have a capacity of 17,520, wasn’t big enough for the demand.

“There would have been clubs which would have taken up the opportunity to bring bus-loads to that game,” said county chairman Ciaran McLaughlin earlier this month.
