SHAREEN has plenty going for her in the Median Auction Maiden at Dundalk tonight and has to get the nap.
The daughter of Bahri made a promising start on this track last month and should now take all the beating, with that experience in the locker.
She was badly drawn in 12 and, at half way, had a dozen horses to pass. Shareen had to come wide off the final bend and then all the way up the straight as well.
But she rocketed home, without being subjected to a hard race, to be beaten three parts of a length into second by the favourite, Manx Miss.
The form was boosted when third placed Luck Or Design went in next time and, with Fran Berry aboard, and coming out of stall three, the selection is a reasonably confident choice.
Feature event is the Listed Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Cooley Fillies Stakes and the nod here falls on course specialist, Fourpenny Lane.
She again showed her liking for the delights of the polytrack when powering to a seven lengths success over Clodova here three weeks ago.
A further three parts of a length away in third was Indiana Gal, who took a Listed event at Dundalk last Saturday night.
Sean Treacy’s Putapriceonthat could provide the solution to the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap.
He made little show in two pops over flights of late, but a reproduction of his close third to Maurice Utrillo and Penthesilea Eile at Gowran Park, on his last appearance on the flat, would surely see him on the premises now.
