No honour in win

NO true glory can be gained from prolonged intentional steering of a soccer ball by a previously esteemed outfield player.

Neither is there any honour in a ‘slieveen’, or merit in an ill-gotten win.

The French, a noble and proud people, may reflect on how low their national team has sunk from the lofty heights of being world champions to winning by any means possible.
