’No’ campaigners must be challenged by media
It is bankrupt because the powerful people in this country’s Government, financial institutions, etc, were reckless and were not adequately held to account by members of our own free press.
The members of the EU have proposed the setting up of a muti-billion mechanism to deal with the difficulties from which we and some other countries now suffer. Yet the members of the ‘no’ campaign advocatr that we stand aside from such a mechanism and take our chances elsewhere.
Just as the free press did not challenge the powerful Lotharios of the Celtic Tiger, they are now letting the reckless proclamations of the high profile ‘no’ campaigners off scott free.
