Beginner's Pluck
Helen was born with psychic powers. As a child, this made life difficult. But for the past 30 years, she has been a clairvoyant, medium and spiritual healer. She has always known that one day she would write a book about her life, but until recently, the time never seemed right.
Helen penned three chapters in May this year and secured a contract with Random House. She wrote the rest of the book in just a month.
“Once I started writing it just flowed. All my memories came pouring out,” says Helen. “I’d never written anything before, except the odd column.”

When Helen Parry Jones was four years old, she realised other people could not see the things that she could. Her childhood was difficult, but then her spirit guide, Sam, taught her how to use her spiritual and healing powers. She ‘sees’ illness in people, and brings messages of hope to people whose loved ones have died.
“I hope the book will give people positivity and guidance. I hope I’m giving them a life message to help them take the right direction. I’m giving them the steps to the truth.”
The Verdict: This book brings a powerful message to those who believe in the power of spirits and angels.
