The body of a man, aged in his 60s, has been removed from a lake in Co Clare.
The man was found in the water at Roslara Lake, in the east of the county, on Tuesday afternoon.
Gardaí arrived at the location shortly after 4pm and the man was later pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
His remains have since been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out at a later date.
Gardaí say foul play is not suspected at this time.
