Disney magic: This Christmas, Disney Store is asking families across Ireland to participate in its ‘From Our Family to Yours’ campaign, supporting children in hospital.

Online and in the shops

The campaign, which was launched in Disney’s Grafton St store last week, invites families to take a festive photo in store or dig out a classic from the family photo album and share it through Instagram or Twitter using #DisneyStoreFamily.

Each family that submits a photo will be entered into a competition to win a family trip to New York and for every family photo shared, a soft toy will be donated to a child. More details are available on www.disneystore.co.uk/disneystorefamily

Premature babies: To raise awareness of the issues that affect families who experience a pre-term birth, the Irish Neonatal Health Alliance (INHA), supported by pharmaceutical company AbbVie, has launched a ‘10 things to know about the 1 in 10’ information leaflet. The leaflet, which aims to provide practical tips and advice for parents of premature babies, can be downloaded from www.inha.ie For the month of November, Patient + Family Care is offering an online “Parenting in the NICU” support course free to Irish families. Free from chemicals such as sulphates, the seven products in the range contain cleansing and moisturising oils like cottonseed and sweet almond oil. Prices start at €9.95 for the Cleansing Wash Gel, with plans to introduce a suncare line next year. NAIF baby skincare is available from pharmacies; en.naifcare.com
