The Dáil’s dreamiest TDs revealed in online poll
Sexytd.com pits two random TDs against one another with web users challenged to pick which TD they would rather sleep with.
Site founder and Made in Chelsea star Francis Boulle revealed how he had set up the site to “raise voter awareness about their TDs”. He admitted some people would find it offensive, but hoped most would see the funny side.
Mr Kyne wasn’t taking it too seriously, insisting it’s “just a bit of fun”. Proving he had not let victory go to his head, the Galway West TD went on to suggest another TD would probably lift the crown next week.
“It’s ever-changing and it will be someone else out in front next week.”
The Galway TD may lose his “Leinster House Hottie” crown sooner than he thinks, as veteran Dáil deputy John Deasy was running a close second last night. Leo Varadkar was ranked sexiest minister, hovering just outside the top 10. Taoiseach Enda Kenny came in 38th place.
Among the unusual choices thrown up by the site yesterday was a face-off between Gerry Adams and Willie O’Dea.
Cork East TD Sandra McLellan was not available for comment after beating Fine Gael’s Cork North West TD Aine Collins by 17 votes.
