Paul O’Connell captains big clean-up in Limerick today

Limerick rolls up its sleeve today as a 10,000-strong volunteer army sets out to tackle tons of rubbish strewn along streets and by-ways in the city and county.

They will be led by a formdiable triumvirate of captains Paul O’Connell, JP McManus, and racing legend AP McCoy.

Team Limerick Clean-up (TLC) is one of the biggest one-day community efforts organised in this country.
