Cork cameraman gives city mini-makeover

A Cork-born cameraman has created a video that depicts Cork city and harbour as a miniature ‘toy town’.

Jason Keane who works as a camera operator at Dublin Institute of Technology used tilt-shift and time-lapse photography techniques to create the incredible effect.

A number of prominent landmarks feature throughout the video including the city’s main thoroughfare St Patrick’s Street, the Port of Cork and the Shandon Bells Tower.

On his Vimeo page, Mr Keane reveals that the video took hours of hard work to put together, but given the results it seems that his efforts have paid off in abundance.
