Charleville Town Centre was built on land bought in 2006 for €4m, and opened in 2008. The town’s population is less than 4,000

Dunnes Stores owns a 62,000sq ft unit, as does Elverys Sports, and one other unit is leased to a pharmacy, Unicare, paying a reported rent of €90,000 a year.

The centre was developed by BWP Ltd, funded by Ibrc, which is now in receivership with Kavanagh Fennell.
