Weigh up grass options in very difficult season

The weather continues to be a major factor in stock management.

Despite the fact that we are half way through May for some grazing conditions are very difficult.

Grass supplies have tightened up around the country and growth rates have dropped off this week compared to last. Last week we were looking at huge growth figures approaching 100kg/ha, this week so far growth appears to back down closer to 30kg/ha.
