Viral video star was suffering from mental health problems
23-year-old youth worker Alika Agidi-Jeffs was filmed - without his knowledge - singing a Rihanna song with his earphones in, oblivious to his fellow commuters.
The video went viral when posted to Youtube garnering over 2.5 million hits.
However, Agidi-Jeffs was later admitted to hospital after his mental health problem was diagnosed as bipolar disorder and he spent four months recovering.
In a new video for campaign group Rethink Mental Illness he revealed the extent of his problems as the video went viral around the globe.
"Over two million people viewed that clip but what they didn't know is that I was going through a lot of anxiety, depression and basically having a manic episode," said Agidi-Jeffs.
"On that day, music was the only way to deal with what was going on in my brain," he added.
Now the Londoner is helping to raise awareness about mental health issues and is hoping to combine his career in music with his youth work.
