VIDEO: Sligo bride rides a tractor into her wedding reception

When it comes to "only in Ireland" moments, turning up to your wedding on a shiny red tractor and driving it straight into the hotel ballroom has got to be up there.

Well, that's what happened on Saturday at the wedding of Sligo natives Colin Lynott from Dromore West and Catriona Feeney from Cullens, as they tied the knot at the Diamond Coast Hotel.

In fairness, that's one beautiful tractor. Not a speck of dirt on it to soil the nice carpet, and the bride's white wedding wellies are a nice touch, too.

If this looks completely mad, bear in mind they've experience with this sort of thing . Driving large vehicles into the reception hall is something of a trademark for the Diamond Coast Hotel.

Their YouTube channel shows at least two other vehicles ferrying the bride in - a golf cart and a mini!
