This video shows dog fouling is STILL a major issue

To mark the occasion, we sent our videographer out on the streets and it's clear fromn what he found that the message hasn't got through to some.
Local Cork City councillor Joe Kavanagh has long been an active campaigner against the problem and introduced a motion in July 2014 to have a campaign organised by the city that would declare war on the potential health crisis that can be caused by the bacteria contained in dog foul
Speaking to The Evening Echo, Cllr Kavanagh said the response of the pupils gave him encouragement that the scourge of dog fouling could become a thing of the past.
“The schools have been absolutely fantastic, this is a really positive story for Cork to see such enthusiasm from our young people. They hate the sight of dog foul as much as anyone and as always, education and trying to reach our future generations are where the problem will be solved.”
