’Shut up, shut up, shut up!’ VinB butts heads with Land Leaguer

Last night’s episode of Tonight with Vincent Browne descended into madness as Browne and guest Jerry Beades from the Land League butted heads.

Browne and Beades had clashed earlier in the day at Gorse Hill, the residence of the beleaguered solicitor Brian O' Donnell. Beades had unsuccessfully tried to prevent journalists from entering the property where O'Donnell had barricaded himself in to prevent a bank repossession of the home. O'Donnell

Browne - who had 'led the charge' of journalists on Gorse Hill yesterday - last night showed footage of the mansion and grounds - complete with tennis court, swimming pool and sweeping views of the bay.

Beade's disagreed with Vincent's assessment of the house, describing it as 'simplistic' and 'bog-standard' for the area:

"Vincent, the house is very much a bog standard house. I'm talking in terms of lavishness and luxury, the house is a very very simplistic house."

To which Browne retorted "You're ridiculous".

Cue much talking over each other that peaked with Browne yelling "Will you just shut up?" at Beades before asking him to leave.

All in all, a fine display of shouting and a good night of telly.

Twitter also enjoyed it immensely although some criticised Browne for a lack of professionalism.
