Leaving Cert Flashback: How would you have done in English?

Day two of the Leaving Cert sees the second paper of the English exam loom over the horizon.

You've spent the morning reciting all those Shakespeare quotes and you're trying to remember what the hell enjambment is again.

As you sit in the exam hall yawning from lack of sleep from the night before, you look forward to a time when you read a novel to relax, not study.

So, how much can you recall about Yeats, O'Casey and the Bronte sisters? For the duration of the Leaving Cert, we'll be bringing you a quiz on the day of each exam based on that subject's curriculum.

Ten questions designed to test your knowledge of those subjects you studied in school for five or six years and spent so many hours of your life cramming for.

Don't worry, we've kept them short, we're not expecting essays.
