Cork artist sells painting for over €100,000 at London auction

Cork artist Conor Harrington has sold a piece of artwork for €103,644 (£77,500) at Bonham’s Auction House in London.

The London-based artist, who grew up in Bishopstown in Cork city, was amazed that his painting, ‘Dance with the Devil’, sold for such a high price on Thursday.
