You’re probably used to seeing guide dogs offering a great service to blind people, but have you ever seen a guide horse?

Mona Ramouni, from Chicago, is blind but she is also a devout Muslim so her parents would not allow a dog in the house.

So instead, Mona enlisted in the help of Kali, a miniature horse who acts as Mona’s guide.

Kali uses her hoofs to point out a surface or curb by tapping on it and she uses her teeth to pick things up.

With Kali to help her out, it means the quality of Mona’s life has dramatically improved.
