Turtles in the US had to be saved from the drop in temperature

Temperature drops in the Atlantic Ocean have left some turtles in a dangerous position.

The cold temperatures in the US sent over 600 sea turtles into shock over the last few days in North Carolina waters, meaning many had hypothermia like symptoms.

Thankfully the turtles had some knights in shining armour on hand as rescuers helped save the young turtles from the near freezing waters.

Some were brought to beaches in Georgia and South Carolina a where it safer for them to live as the seas are warmer.
