PICS: Irish man flags down bull with tricolour during Spanish bull run
On Saturday, Irish poet Michael Walsh saw a rather unusual sight during the Bull Run in Denia, in Spain's Costa Blanca.
Among the crowd gathered around the bull, he spotted a foolish Irish man acting as a matador with his Irish tricolour during the fiesta.

In the dangerous situation, Michael says he saw some people, including teenagers, injured, but his imagination was captured by the view of an Irish man standing proudly amidst the "high drama".
"There were injuries suffered by youngsters whose courage exceeded prudence," he told the Irish Examiner. "Ironically, the most daring appeared to be an Irishman who throughout flaunted the Irish tricolour."

We obviously do not condone this behaviour, nor cruelty towards any animal.
