Dog traumatised by abuse screams when petted for the first time

A dog that was horribly abused has been recorded as she was petted for the first time after being rescued in Romania.

The dog is so traumatised that she lets out a scream-like sound, obviously terrified of being touched by a human.

She calms down slowly and begins to move closer to her rescuer as she gains her trust.

Fortunately for viewers, the end of the video shows the emancipated dog being treated by a vet and playing with another dog.

It looks like this pup has found her happy ending.
