SIGNIFICANT further price reductions have been put into place in the Woodville scheme in Cork’s Glanmire.
End townhouses at the hillside Beeches section of Rossdale’s Woodville had hit €650,000 at peak, dropped to €425,000 last May, and now start at €335,000 for four-beds of 1,445 sq ft, and €365,000 for larger end terrace 1,681 sq ft four beds.
"Reasonable offers within this region will be seriously considered," says Clare O’Sullivan of Savills. Sales last year were predominantly mid-terraces at €350,000, and first time buyers figured prominently.
There are also two smaller, c 1,150 sq ft townhouses at the Courtyard section priced at €250,000 and one smaller one at €190,000. Woodville has about 100 houses, site and apartments in all.
"Rossdale see increased sales across all their other schemes — due to price reductions — and have now reduced prices in The Beeches to encourage viewers who may have been sitting on the fence. This is without question exceptional value," says Ms O’Sullivan. She says Rossdale’s level of finish was "notable", and they allow a sum of €16,500 for kitchens, flooring, etc.
