Cork-founded Cliste Hospitality adds 15th hotel to management portfolio

Group's latest addition is the long-standing Keadeen Hotel in Kildare

Cork-founded Cliste Hospitality has added a 15th hotel to their growing portfolio following the sale of the Keadeen Hotel in Kildare.

The hotel is being acquired by the O’Callaghan family, who are long-time hoteliers and owners of both The Fairways Hotel and The Gateway Hotel in Dundalk.

The 69-bedroom Keadeen is Kildare’s longest-standing family-run hotel, having opened in 1970.

“We are immensely proud of The Keadeen Hotel's success over the past 54 years," said the O’Loughlin family, who owned and operated The Keadeen Hotel.

"We are so pleased to have found a business that shares our values and aims to further build on this success.  

The hotel will be managed by Cliste Hospitality, who already manage a portfolio of 14 hotels across Ireland including the nearby Springfield Hotel in Leixlip, The Fairways Hotel and The Gateway Hotel in Dundalk.

Born from the management buyout of iNua in 2019, Cliste Hospitality is headquartered in Cork was co-founded by Paul Fitzgerald and Sean O’Driscoll. With 15 hotels already under management, Cliste aims to expand further and have 20 to 25 in the next two to three years.
