We love sport in Ireland. However, GAA, rugby and soccer tend to be what we like participating in and focus on as spectator sports as a majority.

There is an undercurrent of minority sports that are cropping up, though, and interest has been steadily growing in recent years in in-line hockey and ice hockey.

The Republic of Ireland currently doesn't have a purpose built rink and the Irish Ice Hockey Association are hoping to raise awareness of the sport and the increasing numbers playing it with this brilliant video.

It will make you want to boot up those skates and hit the ice straight away.
