UCD notch big win over Sligo

Robbie Benson and Graham Rusk scored the goals to ignite UCD's season - and pose major question marks over Sligo Rovers' title aspirations.

College got their first home goal of the campaign as early as eight minutes when Benson headed Deam Marshall's corner past Brendan Clarke.

Martin Russell's side doubled that just before the hour mark. A shot from Darren Meenan deflected into the path of striker Rusk who shot to the net.

Matt Blinkhorn got a goal back for Sligo on 84 minutes when bundling the ball home. But UCD held on for a big win.
