Midfielder Stuart Holden has failed a fitness test on a thigh injury and has been replaced by Mark Davies for Bolton’s home Premier League encounter against Blackpool.

Davies is the only change to the side which beat Newcastle 5-1 last week, meaning Matt Taylor makes his 350th league start on his 29th birthday.

Blackpool have made two changes from the side which beat Wolves last weekend, with Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Elliot Grandin coming in for the injured Marlon Harewood and Matt Phillips.
