Vincent O’Brien County Hurdle possible Inventor could head a team of at least three for owner Jon Glews at the Cheltenham Festival.

Glews is involved with a number of horses at Donald McCain’s yard and his yellow, white and red silks are frequently seen in action.

Inventor is a particularly interesting candidate, winning two of his three starts over hurdles after leaving Brian Meehan on the Flat.

Between the two victories he was fourth behind Menorah, Bellvano and Dr Livingstone at Kempton on St Stephen's Day.

Glews owns novice chasers Youngstown and Khachaturian, who have also won two from their last three outings although the former suffered a disappointing defeat at Plumpton last time.

“We’re hoping Inventor will get into the County Hurdle, otherwise we are going to have to drop him into the Supreme,” said Glews.

“Khachaturian is going for the Kim Muir and hopefully Youngstown will go for the four-miler.”
